課程概述 |
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
This course will train students to learn how to write an academic journal research paper. The course will consist of an introduction to academic English and to the framework of each part of an academic paper. Students will also be trained how to make an oral presentation of their research. |
課程目標 |
COURSE DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS:
This course will consist of two hours of lecture and one hour of writing exercises. Students will be assigned writing assignments, and at the end of the term. They should have been able to finish a draft of their research on a general topic, making use of the moves and techniques that they have learned from the course. In addition, they shall be required to give a 10-minute oral presentation of their paper. |

1.Students are required to attend all classes. No more than three excused absences are permitted. <第一堂課未到視同放棄>
2.Active participation in class discussions is required.
3.Writing assignments are carefully scheduled as stages toward the fulfillment of the course’s objectives. Late assignments will not be accepted. |
